For the Ashuganj combined cycle power plant in Bangladesh, we designed and manufactured 4 modular rooms totalling 400 m2 and with a total gross power output of 450 MW.

They were designed for sea and road transport, despite their size (three 14.5 x 7.5 x 4 m rooms and one 14.5 x 4 x 4.2 m room), which allowed us to disassemble them and carry out simple and efficient re-assembly on site.

In addition, we took into account that the rooms would be exposed to extremely adverse weather conditions: high humidity, rain and strong winds.

They were equipped with HVAC and fire protection and suppression systems in accordance with local regulations.  The auxiliary systems were designed to adapt to the control needs of the plant. They also included batteries, LV Switchgears, inverters, rectifiers, UPS…

As always, to achieve significant assembly savings, the solution was tried and tested at our factory. Our technicians travelled to the country of destination to provide technical assistance and perform the assembly and commissioning of the various phases of the project, providing the customer with the support needed when required.
