VOLTALIA – BURUNDI
A 7.5 MW Photovoltaic plant in Burundi developed by Gigawatt Global, a Dutch company with US investors and a founding partner of the US Power Africa initiative.
For this project, we developed transformer stations for photovoltaic production, in skid format, for string inverters with dimensions that made them easy to transport inside a container, both by sea and by road.
An outdoor solution designed to operate in the equatorial climate. Adapted to the grid requirements of this African country. The skid integrates outdoor medium voltage cells, a 2500 kVA power transformer with voltages of 30kV/0.6 kV, an interconnection panel for the photovoltaic production system, and an auxiliary services and monitoring system.
In addition, our technicians travelled to the country to commission the unit and provide technical assistance.
