CONSONNI – PERU

We designed and manufactured three modular rooms totalling 264 m² for the new Nuevo Mundo compressor station in the province of La Convención (Department of Cuzco). This plant operates by constantly compressing natural gas for transport through a pipeline. Its compression capacity is 268 – MMSCFD.

The electrical rooms that we developed for this station required specific dimensions in order to adapt to the logistical needs of the project and to be able to be transported both by road and by sea:

• Battery room: consisting of a single 12000 x 4000 x 3900 mm room.
• Instrumentation and control room: consisting of two rooms totalling 12000 x 6000 x 3900 mm.
• Electrical room: consisting of three rooms with a total size of 12000 x 12000 x 3900 mm.

The room included 28 kW split type air conditioning units and an overpressure system, as well as a fire detection and suppression system that complied with local regulations.

 The solution was tried and tested at the factory, resulting in significant savings in on-site assembly. Our technicians travelled to Peru to provide technical assistance for assembly and commissioning tasks during the various phases of the project.
